Cravo Bravo means "a wild carnation" in Portuguese. A carnation is a symbol of the Portuguese revolution of the 25th of April 1974, which ended the dictatorship. Placed inside a gun, carnations came to mean freedom. We believe that Portugal and the world need a mobility revolution. This is why we drew a kid placing a carnation into an exhaust pipe of a car. When you order a Cravo Bravo t-shirt, you invest in our direct actions in Lisbon: saving and demanding more bike lanes, doubling the green on crosswalks and working with locals to turn streets pedestrian.

Women
The fashion industry is one of the most disastrous for the planet. We have partnered with Humana, a chain of second hand stores, where we select the most fabulous pieces, stamp the Cravo Bravo graffiti on top – and give them another chance on the catwalk of life.
We found these unique pieces in the second hand stores of our partner Humana. When the kids grow out of them, pass on to the next generation of activists!
There is close to nothing in the second hand stores when it comes to male fashion. So we produced our unisex t-shirts and sweatshirts from 100% organic cotton at a top quality factory in Guimarães, in the north of Portugal. All the pieces are made by adults, in dignity. We also produced a tiny collection of female t-shirts, characterised by an open, feminine neck cut.

Handmade tote bags from thick cotton with woolen straps. We chose 100% Portuguese wool called "burel" for its softness: your shoulders should never hurt. The size of the bag is designed to fit your pannier inside: for when you park your bike in town and need to carry it with you.
Please let us know in the comment section of the donation form which piece you wish to receive.
We shall send it by post in the next 24h (no worries, we cover the shipping), or we meet somewhere around Lisbon (are you up for a professional photoshoot of you?).
If you support us with a monthly donation of any size, we would love to offer you a Cravo Bravo t-shirt of your choice!
